Gumbo is a Soul and R&B band that brings the magic of New Orleans straight into the Israeli music scene. The band consists of 7 players - all of which are working musicians that play with the biggest names in the local industry, and some with careers and music of their own (Stav, Dolev Nahoom Sanbira). The band released their debut EP פרנצ'מן סטריט in 2019. Since then, they have performed in numerous venues and festivals (TLV in LDN Festival in London, The Jazz Festival in Tel-Aviv, The New Orleans Fesival in Tel-Aviv). In February 2022 the band released their own cover version of the song Such a Night by the late legendary Dr. John. The song was released with a stylish music video that aimed to capture the vibe and atmosphere of an old 50's New Orleans Piano bar (available on YouTube). Later that year the band released יום האהבה and מרדי גרא, two more songs from their 2nd EP "Mardi Gras". In January 2023 the band released the song יושב במרפסת, followed by the release of the full EP.
