Justin Marlowe aka Soundcontrol and Glen Reynolds began Starr Blazerz as a writing project for other artists in 2013. Soundcontrol was producing tracks for various artists, and Glen had been featured on tracks w artists such as Talib Kweli and Rhymefest, as well as being sampled on Macklemore and Lupe Fiasco joints. By early 2015 as their tracks started sounding more and more unique they decided to start SB. Two UK releases later, this North American duo released Resurgence this year.
