Earth is around 5.54 billion years old, first humans are dated 200,000 years ago, civilization as we know it is only about 6,000 years old. It’s 2021 and we have turned the world into a place where we can’t walk outside without covering our faces, where we can’t embrace our loved ones and where hope is sometimes hard to find. I am Art de las Fuentes, songwriter, music video producer and singer. I was born in Saltillo Coahuila and live currently in Mexico City. I’ve also lived in China, The Netherlands, USA, Canada, Italy and Spain. Today, no matter where you are, we are all subject to the same situation. It can be easy to lose faith and forget that life is beautiful; even though sometimes it’s made of laugh and other times…it’s made of pain. Your eyes are telling me you’ve finally had enough, all your faith is gone...it’s so gone. Heaven’s tired of silly questions all along, wipe your tears out...just be strong. There’s only bricks in every single wall, you have to tear them down...one by one. All seasons come and then you have to let them go, when a king falls...the next one’s born. When life is all around, you gotta let it flow. When you feel up is down…you will find your path it’s not too late, your dreams are not that far away. You’ll make mistakes, but it’s ok...tales are made from laugh and pain. I’ve been writing songs for other artists. Maybe 60 or 70 artists sing songs that I’ve written with or for them. I think it's time to sing some myself.
