Biography

From Lake Park, Florida, King Kaleeb is an independent Haitian-American artist who took music serious after the death of his precious 2 year old son, Caiden, in 2017. Caiden's passing hit King Kaleeb very hard as he fell upon dark times and found himself homeless in Miami soon after the funeral. During this traumatic and life changing event, he turned to music as a means to escape from his suddenly hectic and deranged reality. King Kaleeb's eclectic musical style and taste primarily stems from growing up in the 90's listening to various artist like Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Backstreet Boys, Jay-Z, Nelly, Destiny's Child, Trick Daddy and etc. He also grew up attending a Haitian church in SoFl where he played instruments like the saxophone, drums and keyboard so he takes pride in incorporating the rich Haitian culture and vibes into his music. King Kaleeb believes that music is a universal language that helps bring us all together! As of late, King Kaleeb has performed at many shows such as Declare Your Vibe (Miami), GoomBay Splash Festival (Riviera Beach), The Culture (Opa Locka), Beat Battle at Propaganda (Lake Worth), A Night at Jerremie (FIU), BSU Open Mic (FIU), The Historic Lyric Live (Miami), Grip the Mic (West Palm Beach) and The Annual Turkey Bowl (Liberty City). King Kaleeb has been interviewed on Palm Beach's local radio station SupaJamzRadio twice and was also a featured artist on the The Upper Room Podcast.
