Four artists (Dj Swanny River I.K.P., EarthTone, Mista B Hood) with distinct deliveries embarking on their individual paths as independent musicians brought their talents together to form a robust hip-hop supergroup called The AlliYance. The mission for the group is to display a sense of unity by combining their sizable talents, their appeal and different perspectives to broaden their outreach from their core audiences to a wider base that further amplifies each member’s individual skill. The AlliYance’s first collaboration and music video, “I Be On It” released in the fall of 2014, serves as the launching pad for the group. In 2016, the group saw a productive year with the one-two punch release of their first mixtape, The Prequel, quickly followed by the masterful debut EP, Introducing… The AlliYance. The EP has produced three singles, “Sugar Water, Pt. 1: Phone Tap”, the fan-favorite “Cake”, and “Voices”. The EP also went on to be nominated for at the 15th Annual Independent Music Awards, held in the fall of 2016.
