Brief history of Cumbancheros Orquesta Created on June 11st, 2010, Cumbancheros Orquesta is an Ecuadorian tropical music orchestra which has been delighting all of its fans by including dance and rumba around the whole world. To make this possible, the orchestra made its first move to select the best musicians and create a leader tropical music group which could accomplish, in great detail, its live performances and commercial recordings. Based in Quito, Cumbancheros has stood out as the most innovating tropical music group nationwide and worldwide since its creation. The most common slogan recognized by its fans has been “La orquesta más bacana” (“An exceptional tropical music orchestra”). All of its members show team spirit, cooperation and excellence, which become them as a family whose purpose is working hard, improving themselves, learning more and proudly carrying the nation’s name. Cumbancheros was created by the Luzuriaga Jurado brothers, who are the grandsons of Mr. Medardo Luzuriaga González (Don Medardo). Currently, the orchestra meets with international standards regarding music groups. After reaching 13 years of musical history, Cumbancheros is entertaining public concerts, private parties, corporate parties and weddings, thus guaranteeing the satisfaction of offering our show to our clients and customers with musical quality and responsibility.
