Born and raised in the District of Columbia, Papa Brain- also known as Bee Lee the M.C. and, born Brian Bobby Lee- is a rapper and music producer best known for his collaborations with artists such as Rick Ross, Juicy J, Twista, Tabi Bonney, Gucci Mane, 42 Dugg, Wale, G-Unit, Yukmouth, Strange Music, and Bone Thugs N Harmony among other acts. Regarded as having a "chopper-flow" Brain has been a pioneering force for hiphop in Washington DC since his earliest emergence as a member of the Diamond District Cartel and later local independent labels, Nuttin' but the Troof, Day 1 Productions and 100 Gz Productions before signing with Sony Music Group in 2020. He is most beloved for his singles, "Disappear (feat Krizz Kaliko)," "One Day (feat. Dizzy Wright),"Do It" (feat. Pimp-C) and "Da Tree Man" He is also the founder of B.A.M (Big Ass Music) and an emerging media personality with appearances on various podcasts and radio shows as of 2024.
