Philadelphia producer J Melodic was born with a love for music and was proficient in piano and drums by age 12. Melodic continued perfecting his musical gift but ultimately went to college to achieve his dream of becoming a sports agent. That dream was quickly derailed one day in a dorm room when he fell in love with the production of music. Heavily influenced by Pharrell and Kanye West, Melodic began networking and building with like minded creatives. He began working in prominent studios in Philly and started traveling the US playing his beats for whoever wanted to listen. In 2010, J Melodic began working closely with Pink Sweat$ and in 2013, Melodic teamed up with Tierra Whack. Their collaboration has birthed 23+ releases including hit singles "Pretty Ugly", "Heaven" and "27 Club." Melodic continues to work side-by-side with Whack creating over 200 unreleased songs.
