Straight out of Toronto, Scarborough, Mili Soch gravitated towards hip-hop at a young age of 14 while honing his freestyle skills in high school with an impressive fusion of English and Hindi rap. Mili studied entertainment marketing and management at Trebas Institute in Toronto. It was then time to brand himself and start developing an album. Upon the release of Mili's second single, “Time” in 2017, he was able to grab the audience and start building his core fan base. Soon after the release Mili brought on board digital partner ArtistAloud, a division of Hungama Music, for the release of his next single in the same year, “Superstar”. Mili opened for one of India's prominent rock groups, Parvaaz, during their Canadian tour in Summer 2017. He then performed at various music festivals including the TD Mosaic Festival, Festival of South Asia and returned back to perform at desiFest. Mili also collaborated with critically acclaimed Desi Hip-Hop artist Fateh DOE in their banger 'Ride With Me'. Mili demonstrated incredible potential in 2017, bringing home the 'Most Promising Musical Artist' Award presented by Hotstar at 2017 Anokhi Awards. In Mili’s music, one can truly feel the depth of the underground and the emotion behind the rhymes and metaphors. The fusion between modern, urban-driven production of hip hop melded with Indian influences is the core of what Mili Soch represents. Mili’s mission is for Urban Desi music to be recognized worldwide on a commercial level.
