First and foremost, thank you for the your time to check out my music. I go by Mentor Rhymes (Mentor). Born and raised in Southern Arizona. I stepped away from music for many years, thinking my "career" deserved my focus. In January 2021, during the covid pandemic, I was told I was let go. I was feeling pretty low until I decided to start writing again to release some pressure. At first, it was therapy. Like J. Cole, I found several beats on youtube that inspired me. Some of those producers are featured on this project such as Madhouse Music Columbia, PK Beats, and Yakuzy (Yakuzy Beats). Originally, I had written Love At First Sight to a Bvtman beat (J. Cole - Procrastination producer). Around the same time my good friend Solrak Beats reentered the music scene and kept sending me beats. So I kept writing. We haven't looked back since. As long as we continue to have fun and enjoy the process, we'll continue churning out music under Up There Entertainment. My next project, Last Race of Giants, drops on 2/3/23. I teamed up with my ace, Big Meridox and we were finally able to deliver on an idea we had years ago for this album. Produced entirely by Solrak Beats.
