I'm Robert Steven Hunt an English composer born in the mid nineteen fifties, trained to be teacher of Drama, Geography and Film + TV Studies. A retired member of the Creative Arts team in a Secondary School in Guildford. I'm a largely a self taught musician and composer, I began playing the piano in my teenage years. A loyal teacher at the Cascade Drama club in Farnham, Surrey for over 25 years. It is here and through the Church that I developed my musical talents and composition skills. In April 2010 I made the decision to share my music worldwide on the internet, there was huge interest in my compositions from various music websites, with many encouraging comments. This led to the creation of my debut studio album EAGLE MOUNTAIN (2014) and my partnership with producer Chris Mitchell. My music has been described as Inspirational Classical Crossover Piano, it's very relaxing, soothing and calming! A great antidote to road rage if played in a vehicle! My second studio album EDGE OF TIME (March 2020), had ground breaking multi genre music with something for everyone, including Jazz, and an Orchestral Suite. DRIFTWOOD, (12th May 2023) completes the line up of studio albums, with piano and orchestral music designed to be relaxing, calming and peaceful, just what the world needs right now with all of the anxiety and challenges dominating our lives!
