Biography

Growing up in Leeds, West Yorkshire and one of the early pioneers of the Bassline music genre, Wittyboy has had a number of successful underground releases, and official remixes for the likes of Craig David, Estelle, E17, Nitin Sawhney, Toddla T and many many more. After receiving heavy support on national radio such as BBC Radio 1, Kiss and Rinse FM, Wittyboy began taking his production style to the DJ circuit where he gained a reputable name amongst some of the most iconic nightclubs and music festivals across the UK and internationally. He has featured on some of the biggest Bass and Garage compilations in history from the Ministry of Sound - Sound of Bassline series, Fabric, Pure Garage and Pure Bassline which have all received Gold and Silver BRIT certification in the UK. He also featured on Craig David - Greatest Hits album with his remix of "Are You Up For This". Wittyboy is featured in issue 80 of the iconic RWD Magazine with a double-page spread feature as well as other known publications such as Super Super, DJ Mag, Vice, iDJ, Complex to name a few. In 2014 Wittyboy was featured in the Channel 4 and Dazed‘s Music Nation series "It’s Bass Up North" Directed by David Graham.
