Production duo based out of Santa Clarita, California. Bringing you new and innovative approaches to pan-genre music. The Vine Tree was formed in 2017, comprised of vocalist/producer/songwriter WEST (Wesley Lee Thomas) and producer/engineer/vocalist MauriWowi (Mauricio Omar Gil). WEST comes from a hip-hop background, having released a few projects in the underground scene before teaming up with MauriWowi. Mauri showed WEST the first beat he had ever made, "Metamorphosis" and the rest was history. In their first effort, "What's Happening", the duo experimentally journey through anger, depression, angst, trials, triumph, and love in an alternative universe that blends lyricism with cutting-edge production.
