Smita Rakshit, a versatile singer with mastery over various styles of singing, has conquered the hearts of industry icons. While she has mastered various genres of music, her favourite remain rural folk, indie-pop and Indian film music. Smita has sung more than 10 languages. Bengali, English,Hindi, Panjabi, Sanskrit, Assamese, Marwadi, Odia etc. Her dream project "Mahishasura Mardini" got so much appreciations from the famous personalities of bollywood music industry. In 2024 she sang a reprise version of an iconic song "Chap Tilak" for the web series called "Shekhar Home".
