Straight outta Sin City! Four Mexican-Americans, born in Las Vegas, journey together to get their city on the map. The spanglish word “Alkamia” is meant to mimic “alchemy”. As the group's mission is to blend familiar musical elements, their American upbringing brings a new perspective to Regional-Mexicano’s rising popularity. Eminencia Records showcases singer/songwriter/bassist Chris Martinez, accordion/singer Francisco Rodriguez, bajo-quinto Jaime Rodriguez and singer/drummer Jonathan De La Rosa. Each member indulges in different genres but combine their interests in search for their moment in the spotlight.
