BRUUS, (pronounced 'bruise') is a multi-talented artist/producer born and raised in Chicago, IL. His name, which is an acronym for (Bring Reality Uncut Utilizing Sound), reflects his experiences and his brand of rap. The versatility of his cadences and brash-yet-witty lyrics is his signature. Dealing with the death of countless friends, homelessness, PTSD, and maintaining an insane resilience is often the theme of his music. His influences include 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, & 2Pac. He's also a self-taught audio engineer, graphic designer, director, curator amongst other titles. His talents have had him tour the United States, as well as open up for Lil Bibby, PNB Rock, Cardi B, A Boogie, amongst others, and he's produced for Pusha T, Yo Gotti, Bump J, OTF, and many independent artists.
