Born in Medellin, Colombia but raised in Miami , Florida; Zan has a natural instinct for telling engaging stories through his music since a kid. His father a Christian pastor encouraged him to perform worship music at church, this begun his love and passion for music. Self taught, he quickly picked up piano, guitar, bass guitar and percussion. He developed an ear for music thanks to his fathers huge collection of vinyl he grew up listening to the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Bobby Dean, FKJ, Ella Fitzgerald, Earth, Wind & Fire, Black Sabbath and more. Zan crafts lyrics, drawing inspiration from various aspects of life and fusing them with high aptitude wordplay. The creative artist always manages to turn happenings of daily events that are seemingly unimportant to most, into extraordinary narratives, that are not only catchy but relatable.
