Sknny is a Nigerian born, Port Harcourt based Hip-Hop artist and producer who has gotten quite acclaimed for his refined consciousness in lyrics and storytelling which is mostly centered around his struggles and travails as a Gen Z. Growing up as the youngest of four hip hop fanatic siblings, Sknny got strongly influenced as he began listening to hip hop and writing raps at the age of 8. Motivated by his cousin to start recording music professionally, he started making and dropping music in December 2016. Ever since he’s put in impressive amount of work in growing his discography, with key releases like YnC (Young & Clueless) an EP that housed one of his most popular record till date “Nomophobia”, and the most recent “The Vibe Pack”, a single pack with two melodic rap songs titled No lie & Vibing feat Tonee C. He shared more personal stories of insecurities and lustful tendencies on No Lie, interpolating Kendrick Lamar’s lust in the process while also maintaining focus and light-heartedness on the Tonee C assisted “Vibing”. Signed to a management company “Black Federation”, he is currently working on a new EP titled ‘The World Is a Bully’ which is centered around his struggles with anxiety.
