Soma Allpass is a danish classically trained cellist whose impressive journey in music and art has led her through classical music, indie rock, pop, folk, music for modern dance, classical Indian music, modern jazz, Gagaku and free improvisation. In the 90s, she was part of the indie rock band Trains and Boats and Planes. 2013-2020 part of Soma & Lil, experimental cello duo. She has released three solo albums and three cello duo albums.
