FITZROY emerged onto the reggae music scene in the mid-1990s, showcasing his lyrical prowess as a regular MC on the esteemed 'Ghetto Rock' soundsystem in West Negril, Jamaica. His talent garnered recognition from acclaimed reggae artist Lisa Dainjah, leading to a fruitful collaboration on his debut EP 'Ratoon,' recorded at Bust Out studio in Kingston. Transitioning to Australia in 2007, Fitzroy continued his mission of spreading cultural richness and the essence of reggae through his widely followed radio program, 'Reggae Mixtape,' broadcasted from the esteemed 2NVR radio station on the Mid-North Coast. Concurrently, he embarked on extensive tours with his original reggae ensemble, 'Drama King.' Embarking on a solo journey, Fitzroy has since released two acclaimed albums, captivating audiences at numerous Australian music. Renowned for his versatile storytelling and adeptness in both original compositions and freestyle MCing, Fitzroy captivates listeners with his passionate delivery and unwavering conviction. His latest offering, the album 'Naked Soul,' stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.
