Born in Ghana; raised in Toronto's East End (Scarborough), Kwesi's unique blend of Afro-pop and deep house is equally inspired by his African and North American experiences. A bedroom producer for over 15 years, Kwesi credits modern artists like KAYTRANADA, Burna Boy, Black Coffee, Vigro Deep and Sango for inspiring him to bring his music to light.
