Semantic ONE AKA: Benny Zenn is Beat Maker/Producer now residing in Sydney, Australia. After living and working amongst the flourishing UK scene, his return home to Australia comes with anticipation. At any moment you’ll find the man elbow deep and completely immersed in music of all kinds. It would difficult to find a more assiduous craftsman as he forever chop samples, collates and consumes music. Semantic One’s sound is reflective of his dillegence and embodies his eclectic taste in organic conscious/backpack and 90’s Hip Hop. This being said, his evolution has been steady with progression being made in his formula which is evident in his 2018 and 2019 releases with KdotMelody. These EP’s showcases his ability to modernise his Sonics , drums pattern and work collaboratively artists. His instrumentation and sampling draw from collections of soul and jazz but are are always washed and hung out to dry with a Lofi influence.
