Toaster, percussionist, composer, sound technician and artistic director, I Fi has developed an authentic style, inspired by Jamaican toasters from the 70s such as U Roy, I Roy, UBrown, Trinity, Tappa Zukie etc... Positive and relevant when choosing his lyrics, he has managed to settle in the Reggae and Sound Systems world, collaborating in particular since 2012 with Roots Attack, Zulu Vibes, Chouette Records, Askan Vibes, Riddim Activist, I Station Sound, Pinnacle Sound , DJ Akademy, Hornin' Sound, Nyabin Sound, Jah Roots Hifi, Hi Bass, Irie Action Crew, Old Capital Records, Tebel Music, Irie Ites etc... co-host, selector, operator of the show Back to the Culture on Radio RMP (from 2016 to 2020). I Fi selects, operates and toasts since 2005. Several trips to Jamaica since 2014 have honed his ability to express himself authentically in Jamaican "patwa". I Fi joined the BAT Records label in 2021 and worked in parallel on his own productions with his label CooDeh Music (named in a nod to his favorite gimmick: "Coo Deh!" / "Watch for that!") licensed from Bat Records.
