In collaboration with independent record label Fake Four Inc., September 2020 would bring Hughes’ first official label releases - the 13-track full length LP entitled HUEMAN and the collaboration 7inch vinyl single with Ceschi Ramos entitled DRKWLKR, with its lead single POLTERGEIST. Exactly one year after that, the artist would release the 5-track self titled HUGHES EP, which features production mostly from Philadelphia native producer DEF, as well as two separate singles individually produced by Fake our Inc. beatmaker Tsoh Tso and Connecticut artist/producer and high school friend Kyle Jamal. Without a record deal, team, or any formal management, Hughes elevated lyrical perspective and "genuine" music has helped bring him noted acclaim in the state of Connecticut and with listeners around the world.
