Tania Rugamba’s art, which is inspired by her grandfather—Rugamba Cyprien—strives to accomplish things beyond self. An art meant for self and people. When creating she merges the world, she lives in with what it could evolve into. With what she creates she hopes to stir desires inside her audience to imagine worlds beyond the realms they live in. 
 She officially started her musical career in 2021 with her debut album, Nkishaka uwo ndi we narahanze, a collection of 12 songs written mostly in college, and her recent EP, Songs of one verse, released in October 2022. Her vision is to leave something for the world, particularly the people of Afrika, on which to feed on. A type of food that replenishes the human mind and allows it to navigate the many spectrums that comprises it.
