J. Esco The Primal or King Prime, was born and raised in Flatbush Brooklyn, NY. An area known for it's Caribbean culture J. Esco picked up influences from Hip Hop legends such as, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Rakim, and LL Cool. As he got older Hip Hop started to form an immediate outlet as J. Esco has taken bigger influences from Nas, Mobb Deep, The Notorious B.I.G. and 50 Cent Jay-Z. By 13 Esco moved to the northwest area in Washington State and begin to utilize his immaculate street poetry adopting the name J. Esco a play off of his actual name and a play of his idol Nas. In the summer of 2011 J. Esco forms his imprint "Alpha Knights Music Group, LLC" styled after his love for Star Wars movies. In the beginning of 2012 linking with mentor DJ Iceman to further push his entrepreneurial abilities. 2014 sees J. Esco releasing his first EP "In Between Worlds" and his solo album "The Chimera Project". With critical acclaim followed by breakout song "Smoke & Mirrors" Esco's visceral hyper-realistic flow mixing anime, Kung Fu and vivid storytelling quickly gain him comparisons from bloggers ranging from Nas to Styles P to Prodigy of Mobb Deep. After the success of his second LP 2015's "Kiss Tha Timbz, Vol. 1" and 2017's "Liberty" J. Esco keeps the pressure of major production credits as well as gearing up to releasing the 2021 highly anticipated "Crown Me"
