Panteleimon is an award-winning graduate of the Royal College of Music, where he studied the guitar with Charles Ramirez and played in master classes for Carlos Bonell and John Williams. He subsequently became a member of Carlos Bonell’s own guitar ensemble, touring Europe with him. As an outstanding young talent he won scholarships to study at both the Junior College and subsequently the Royal College of Music. Subsequently he was appointed Professor of Guitar at the Junior Royal College of Music where he taught for seven years. Since leaving college his performing career has taken him all over the world, playing concerts to great acclaim in Madrid, Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Sicily. He has appeared in concert at the British Embassy in Russia and at the British Ambassadors residence in Denmark, most notably playing for the Prince and Queen of Denmark. He has also performed for members of the British Royal Family, including Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret and Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra. Panteleimon has appeared in concert at London’s most prestigious venues including the Wigmore Hall and the Queen Elisabeth Hall.He is an award winning film composer, receiving the Golden Palm award in 2011 for the film ‘A Zionist Journey from Romania to Eritrea’. He is an expert arranger as well as composer; his most recent work includes collaboration on the project to arrange music for the BBC television series ‘Shakespeare in Italy’ 2012.
