OG Mook is an artist from the westside of Cleveland, Ohio. The first release he had was in 2011 on SoundCloud under the name of Mookie Turnt Up. He continued to make music throughout high school and eventually changed his name to Mookie Trillest. While in high school he had the opportunity to open for Dizzy Wright and Hopsin. In 2016, Mook opened for PNB Rock, DoeBoy, and Shy Glizzy. In 2017, Mook began performing on local shows consistently and this continued into 2018 when he began working with YSN Flow. In 2019, Mookie Trillest changed his name to OG Mook. In August of 2019 Mook became a father to his daughter Lynox Dior. In 2020 Mook released “Inuyasha”, his first solo mixtape, which collected over 10,000 views. In December of 2020, OG Mook signed a partnership deal with Kash Kartel Entertainment. The next year he released his first mixtape under Kash Kartel titled “Off My Chest”. The mixtape has over 50,000 streams to this day. In 2022, OG dropped his his second mixtape under Kash Kartel titled “Trillest Turnt OG”. This was his third solo mixtape and gained about 50,000 streams. In 2023 Mook welcomed his first son and his second child into the world. In April, Mook ended his partnership agreement with Kash Kartel Entertainment. In June of 2023, OG Mook signed a management deal with Westside Productions, his first project with them titled “Kamikaze” releases in July.
