Richard is a musician and producer. To date he has played shows all over the world including Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Argentina, Dubai, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. In 2010 Richard performed as the frontman of the band ISO to 100 000 people at 10 sold out arena shows across Germany. This would go down in history as the biggest tour a band of this age from South Africa has ever achieved. During this time he also performed at the FIFA World Cup opening concert at Orlando stadium as a singer and guitarist for Tumi Molekane. In 2011 another group he performs with, “The Queen Experience”, was booked for a week’s run at the Madinat Theatre in Dubai where they were discovered by a Dutch producer. The producer was so impressed with the show that he invited the band to Holland to play the Arnhem football stadium as the only act. With a sold out performance of 35 000 people they soon became a big hit in The Netherlands and so returned to Amsterdam at the end of the year to do 14 sold out shows at the Rai Theater. The band returned in 2016 to play at another sold out performance at Paleis Soestdijk with Counting Crows. To date Richard has released 8 albums as well as a live DVD at the 02 World Arena in Berlin. He is currently living in Cape Town where he runs his studio and record label, “Naughty Bird”.
