Spencer Annis is an independent artist, worship leader, and producer based in Lynchburg, Virginia. Spencer has been releasing Jesus-centered music since 2017. His mission as an artist is to give listeners a clearer picture of Christ’s love for them and glorify his Creator in the process. Along the way, he got married to the love of his life, had his first son, built lasting friendships, and became a mainstay in the indie Christian music scene. Spencer’s first full-length release, Author, came out back in 2020. The self-produced record was followed by Safe Place in 2021, an album Spencer made with longtime friend and collaborator Joshua Sosin. In the second half of 2021, Spencer got to work on creating intimate, stripped-down versions of the tracks from Safe Place, which were later released as the Safe Place (Acoustic) EP. Summer 2022, Spencer began his partnership with Integrity Music for the release of his latest album, In the Upper Room. This record, co-produced by Spencer, Benja Schick, and Joshua Sosin, was followed up by the standalone singles “Notice” and “Yeshua.” “Notice” is a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for the Christian category.
