Makell Bird was born and raised in the southside of Atlanta, Georgia (Riverdale, Jonesboro, Stockbridge, McDonough). At the age of 18, after graduating from Stockbridge High School in the summer of 2000, he started an independent recording label called A.D.E. (Angelic Destroyer Entertainment). Makell went from rapper to producer to mixtape DJ (Maktown Radio series, Guest of Honor series, Hand Picked Heat series, etc.) to radio and TV show host (Maktown Radio, Maktown TV) . In 2008, Makell Bird began working alongside music distribution companies and in 2012 he created his own music distribution company (ADED.US Music Distribution). Makell Bird currently serves as the CEO and Founder of ADED.US Music Distribution, ADED.US Music Promotions, and the ADED.US Music Store. Since 2012, the company (ADED.US) has distributed well over 2,000 releases and has a network of over 50,000 music industry affiliates and music fans. ADED.US operates as a platform for independent and (formerly) signed artists to distribute and promote their music on a major label level. ADED.US currently has contracts with over 1,000 digital music stores and apps including major brands such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Spotify, Tidal, iHeartRadio, Shazam, Saavn, YouTube, Anghami, kkbox, and more.
