Born in ‘89… J-Earn was introduced early on to an eclectic mix of music from his older siblings. They showed him everything ranging from Classic Rock and Blues to Pop, Metal, Country and more. It wasn’t until he discovered Source & Vibe magazines in his father’s closet that he would take a liking to the rebel art that was 90s Hip Hop. From trying his hand as a drummer & vocalist in garage bands throughout his adolescence, he adopted a knack for rhythm that would lead him to craft his freestyle ability. After years of writing, open mics and structuring verse patterns, he landed a coveted place on the powerhouse brand known as Grind Mode Cypher. Since his first appearance, he has collected accolades and collaborated with some of the most accomplished artists from the Rhode Island area.
