Professor Funk is a vocalist, songwriter, poet, producer and world bender residing in Northern California, crafting sprawling stories amongst the giant redwood trees and endless coastline. Though until recently virtually unknown globally, in 20 years of performing, Professor Funk has managed to log thousands of hours of stage time in multiple genres; sharing the stage with Amde Hamilton, Aphrodite, Dead Prez, Krs-one, and Zion I to name a few. He weaves West Coast Hip Hop storytelling lyrics with DnB; creating a lyrical star map incorporating both historical realism and Afro Futurism.
