Doce Presença (April, 2024) is the latest album by Dutch singer Josee Koning, produced by Ivan Lins. February 14 the first single of the album was released: Plus fort que nous. Ivan loves the album: “Our album is delicate, intimate, melodic and soft. It has great lyrics and a boss nova atmosphere.” Dutch singer Josee Koning is the leading lady in Brazilian music in The Netherlands. She has worked with some of the best musicians from Brazil, like Ivan Lins, Dori Caymmi and João Bosco. Josee has always had a passion for Brazilian music. She is the co-founder of the legendary Dutch Brazilian fusion group Batida, that recorded three albums, toured internationally and played at the North Sea Jazz Festival. Her first solo-album Tribute To Antonio Carlos Jobim (1995) was produced and arranged by Dori Caymmi, who also produced Dois Mundos (1999). Leonardo Amuedo produced Josee’s album Recorded in Rio (2003). In 2005 Josee recorded in Brasil her first album in Dutch: Verdronken Vlinder. Her album Bem Brasilero (2008) gained an Edison nomination.
