Biography

Na Da was born and raised in Detroit, and grew up with a family of musicians. Her childhood was spent singing, and she joined her first choir at age 6. She was fascinated as she learned the great history of her hometown, along with classic composure. She continued this training for another 12 years, and eventually began composing her own music.
She went on to become a front woman for two bands heavily involved in the Detroit metal scene. Desolation Alley and Suffer it Down, which won her Blue Water Musics “Best Female” in 2020. At the kick off of the covid shut down, music came to a screeching halt. Band rehearsals constantly cancelled, shows were non existent, and live music essentially gone. Then Na Da became Na Da.
With a desire to continue challenging herself in all her musical endeavors, she pushed forward to do collaborations with rap artists like ICP, Anybody Killa/ABK, Bake Lo, and Histio. Inspiring a solo hip-hop release of her own. Na Da has performed along side of some of the greatest underground artists also inluding: Ouija Macc, Scum, Insane Poetry, HB the Grizzly, Razakel and the Slice Girls, Shaggy 2 Dope, Lyte, and many more... In the present Na Da has been striving for versatility in her music, and will be releasing a full length album mid 2024.
