 Jules Burn is a rapper, composer, and musical shaman out if Sacramento, Ca. Jules has been polishing his songwriting tools since 2002 and has been recording music since 2012. His first writings were accompanied by guitar, drawing inspiration from bands like The Black Keys and Kings of Leon. He quickly traded the guitar for drums and the singing for rapping after discovering a natural affinity for rhythms. His early hip-hop mind was shaped by more politically motivated artist like Beastie Boys, Spearhead, and Rage Against The Machine. In the middle of recording his debut album, “More Feel”, Jules almost lost his life when he was struck by a car when riding home on his bicycle. He was forced to take a year off from making music due to extensive brain damage. Jules Burn is now back and stronger than ever. He returned to finish his album with a new more introspective sound, drawing more inspiration from funk and soul influences.
