Multitalented hip-hop/ RnB producer, songwriter and artist are some of the words used to describe Orish and through his artistry he has helped define the Cape Town Hip Hop sound. Raised in Guguletu, Cape Town(born Sibulele Mela ) who prides himself as a producer has worked on many songs and projects that have became huge for fellow artists in Cape Town. Being an artist has also enabled him not to box his sound and create music by his own rules and this has aided him in finding his signature sound of hard hitting 808s and basslines. Orish also engineers his own music which he learnt to do it through YouTube. He first learnt how to produce in 2017 when he decided to follow the footsteps of his favourite producers Tyler, The Creator and Kanye West. Orish is well on his way to become a prolific sound engineer, with projects such as ‘Live from eLokshin’ by Simulationrxps and ‘Alter Ego’ by K.Keed being mix and mastered by him and the latter being executive produced by him.With his amazing energy in studio and work ethic, Orish plans on elevating the South African sound to reach global status.
