Julie Cooper is an award-winning British composer and pianist whose music is broadcast extensively on Film, BBC television and radio channels, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 and all visual media worldwide. She has scored multiple cinematic orchestral and chamber albums for film, television drama, wildlife documentaries and advertising, along with numerous drama commissions for theatre, BBC Radio 3 and 4 Dramas and the concert platform. Her album Haunted By The Secret on Universal’s Chappell Noir label, had two nominations for Best Score Production Music Track in The Production Music Awards, winning with her track Game Of Trust. Recent album releases include 'Continuum' in 2022 on Signum Classics featuring Adjoa Andoh, Grace Davidson, Elena Urioste, Clio Gould, Nicholas McCarthy, Justin Pearson, the Oculus Ensemble conducted by Jessica Cottis at Abbey Road, producer Jonathan Allen. 'Cinematic Gamescapes' on Universal’s Chappell label scored for cinematic games and films, and 'Symphonic Skies' featuring soprano Grace Davidson, released by Audio Network for panoramic aerial cinematography in film, television and advertising. ‘Seasons’ for BBC Production Music recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra for wildlife documentary . Concert work performances include the Royal Albert Hall, St.Martin-in-the-Fields, Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, St.David's Hall, The Helix Dublin, Newbury Spring Festival, Henley Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival etc.
