Das Kapital is the alias of record producer, DJ, radio host, voiceover artist and creative Kyle Brinkmann. His sound is the product of more than ten years spent exploring South African and global club music. Warping and mutating elements of House, UK Garage, Techno, Acid, classic Rave and Breakbeat it is a dynamic style that is uniquely his own. Whether performing at South Africa’s iconic Rocking The Daisies, Mozambique’s Kings Of House, the UK’s Secret Garden Party, or at a more intimate club experience, his expertise as a selector and dance floor storyteller are second-to-none. As a record producer, DJ and label A&R, Das Kapital’s work has earned him at least two nominations a year for three consecutive years at the Dance Music Awards of South Africa (DMASAs), for Best Radio Show, Best Compilation, and Best EDM single (which he won in 2017 for “Bend It”). Das Kapital’s weekly radio show “In Das We Trust” is now into it’s 5th year on South African national broadcaster 5FM, bringing the cutting edge of global Dance music to it’s diehard following for 3 hours every Friday.
