Based on his education as a classical guitarist, Finn Elias Svit plays works for solo guitar by e.g. Bach, Sor, Giuliani,Tárrega, Villa Lobos, Granados, Barrios, Brouwer and modern Danish composers such as Per Nørgaard, FlemmingWeis and Mogens Christensen as well as the guitar concerts by i.a. Vivaldi. Finn Elias Svits' special interest in chamber music has contributed to participation in a large number of chamber music projects with both Danish and international musicians in many ensembles, here especially with the violinistJochen Brusch. In addition to the evening concerts, the collaboration with Jochen Brusch has resulted in more than 1000 concerts for Danish school children. Programs such as - "The animals in Music", "Around the world in 45 min","Niccolo Paganini a witch master on violin", "Classical with Brusch and Suite" m.m. have all been a great success. Finnhas then played guitar duo with names such as Prof. Bernard Hebb, Prof. Michael Tröster, Leon Frijns, MariaLinnemann and Petko Genkov. Most recently, Finn has toured with the trio Brandt, Petersen and Svit. Finn appears on more than 10 CDs.
