Shayla The Artist is an R&B singer and songwriter with organic vocals that will remind you of the 90’s. She was born and raised in San Jose, CA and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. Shayla began her career in music by educating herself on songwriting and how to professionally record in a studio.
 Shayla the Artist released her first single, titled, "SPL," in 2018; a summer jam that with a nostalgic feeling of love and good vibes. She later released an EP, "Sensitivity to Light," which she describes as a variety of personal songs that anyone can relate to.
