Born and raised in Norfolk, VA. YRM Bear first began releasing music in 2017 under the alias “23bear.” In April of 2018, a new name was decided. His love for music stems from a young age, claimed to have been writing raps since before 11 years old. YRM stands for Young, Rich, and Motivated. An upcoming hip-hop artist with a wide range of vocals, and different flows. 
 YRM Bear dropped his first collective album on May 5th, 2019 named “Drip” featuring songs like “Ca$htroworld” and “Bando Baby.” His second album “20-20” includes features from multiple artists. Corey J, a local Virginia rapper, premiers in two songs - “Juice” and “My City.” This album dropped on September 7th, 2019. YRM Bear’s most recent EP “Space” dropped on March 6th, 2020. In this project, authentic lyrics and fast flows can be discovered in songs like “Mindful” and “Just Me.” Futhermore, his EP “SITW” dropped May 24th, 2020 with songs like “Shine” and “Faded Luv” showing off Bear’s vocal talent. In September of 2020, “I Lost My Mind” was dropped. The album was sixteen songs and featured two artists Teddy Strange & Corey J. A single named “International” was dropped early January 2021. 2021-2023 have been a terrific couple of years for the growth of this Rising Legend. Dropping consistently over the years, shows the true dedication of this artist. Self-Made was the first album produced exclusively by him. He is quoted saying “Music is my life, and i hope my music positively impacts others lives as well.”
