Ferndrop, also known as Fern, is a hobby music producer from Melbourne, Australia, primarily focusing on downtempo and synth genres. Her love of music started at a very young age, when her father would take her to see the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. She played classical violin for 23 years and was a member of the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra for 9 years. She began writing and producing her own music while studying at university, dabbling in EDM and Vocaloid under various pseudonyms. After a short break, Fern returned to producing and began writing lo-fi tracks. Fern's biggest inspirations are Mike Oldfield and Deadmau5.
