Mats Norrefalk is a swedish guitarplayer,composer and arranger. He's an openminded crossover player and have a big curiosity about jazz. Loves to mix genres as well as different constellations of ensembles.He likes to play acoustic as well as the electric guitar. Started to play when he was 9 years old when he heard The Beatles on swedish television. Their joy, energy and their output really struck him. 1974 he played in the swedish progressive rock group "SAGA" ( LP SAGA) Later he was very inspired by Clapton, Peter Green and Jimi Hendrix.(and still is) Through the years he developed a music versatility which resulted in recordings with many different genres ,for example: 1979 LP with MAMBA jazzfusion group 1982 formed the acoustic guitar duo "FOUR HANDS" with classical guitarist Börje Sandquist. They made two CD´s 1998 and 1999, crossover music. Still performing. CD 2002 "Incontro" for electric guitar and church organ with Ulf Samuelsson. CD 2011 "Once upon a time" Mats compositions together with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and guest musicians. CD 1997 "A lot of Living" with the group Big Blues and Boogie. Member of "T-blues Sweden" in Örebro, Since 1993, collaboration with the famous swedish artist and singer, Lill Lindfors. Instrumental crossover trio with Sebastien Dubé (b) and Micke Nilsson (dr).
