Mads Granum Trio was founded back in 2006 by Mads Granum. It soon became a quartet and later a quintet. Mads Granum has released 5 jazz albums consisting of hymns and songs mainly from Scandinavia. The last two album 'Med favnen fuld af kærlighed' (2017) and 'Stille eksplosioner' (2021) are entirely with Granum's own compositions. Several of his compositions are published in Danish songbooks and hymnbooks. Mads Granum lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.
