I feel like such an unlikely candidate to be a ukulele player. But that's where I am, and it feels like the most honest version of myself. I've been a musician my whole life. I've played drums in bands, guitar in thrash and death metal bands, had my own stoner rock band, been a bass player in a few psychedelic rock bands, I've produced albums for other musicians and I've made a lot of electronic music (primarily acid house). But none of it felt totally right. Yet I've always had the urge to express myself and for the first time in my life I let my career fall apart around me and allowed myself to start again, but doing it my way and letting my body and whatever force moves me to play the music it wanted to play. It's a true expression of music from my heart with no tricks or hiding places.
