Voxx and The Hound is an American Hip Hop project and duo created by producer Unkle Skock (Scott Brown) and lyricist/rapper Matt Beatty. Hailing from St.Louis Missouri, the duo got their start in 2017 collaborating on their first project "The Significant Insignificance". Unkle Skock (Scott Brown) came up in the late 80s hip hop scene as a dj , then in the late 90's turned his sights to the electronic dance music scene under the alias "Cypher". That is where met local MC Matt Beatty (Baytron) who would rap at local underground parties. "His flows and content were always some of the best I had ever heard live, he was special." Late 2016 Scott changed his habits from Dj to producer, Creating several instrumental tracks and putting them online looking for artists to collaborate with. He also reached out to Beatty. "I would send him (Beatty) tracks and the stuff he was coming up with proved to me that he got the direction without me teling him anything. That is where the real beauty in what is going on resides." Their second full length album "Another Revolution" is available now ! It's an 80 min journey through life and lyricism.
