Lamajae D. Rembert, professionally known as The Southbay Legend, Majae. Born in Bellflower,CA and raised all over Los Angeles, California. Majae is a American Rapper, that started songwriting at age 14. At age 18 he joined a group called JMAAAC who closely worked with producer Jhawk Productions. After the group split up, Majae Pursued his solo career. Growing stagnant, Majae became anxious from lack of having a reliable producer and engineer but became connected with with an old friend (Andrew) and they worked on his first album found on SoundCloud named NOT THE SAME released in 2018. During that time Andrew introduced Majae to a close friend of his who became his producer as well. That producer was Paul Bryant aka Breezybeatz. Later that year Majae reconnected with a friend, who was an engineer named Randy Bagby aka. BRD of Armageddon Records. Although Majae never signed to BRD’s record label, BRD aimed to help Majae strictly for the love of his music and energy. After recording multiple songs. One song stood out that represents the car culture of LA called “WS”
Shorty after BRD shut down his studio causing Majae to learn to engineer himself and start his acting career. Since then Majae has release solo albums Cold Summer, and All Black under his own label “SouthBay Legend Productions” with features with close friends such as RACKZ, MiraB, ThirstyLA, and his uncle Youngright both albums produced by BreezyBeatz.
