MARLBORO is an indie rock band from New York’s Hudson Valley formed by singer/songwriter Dante DeFelice and longtime friends Duncan Clark (bass) Matt Bliss (drums) and Joey Wright (guitar). MARLBORO delivers lyrics like free poetry, flying over electric folk rock, while atmospheric guitars drift in and drone out of riff. Their melancholic, heart-on-sleeve banter may leave you not sure whether to laugh or cry as MARLBORO encapsulates the deceptively mundane experiences and overwhelming complexities of everyday living. Their sophomore effort, Sleep Better Push Death was self-released June 2023 and serves as a reminder, a positive mantra and a simple to do list.
