A classically-trained trumpet player who grew up partially immersed in the world of orchestras, jazz bands, and wind ensembles, and partially engaged in the Connecticut hardcore and punk scene of the late 00's/early '10's... somehow turns into this. Greg encountered a musical hiatus after distancing from the pomp and rigor of music conservatory. After this hiatus, Poison Idiot was born, from a puddle of pain. From 2014-2016, this incarnation of of greg's music was noisy, jarring, disconcerting, mustering intentionally awkward attempts at pop through vocal patterns and greg's notable jazzy trumpet sound (only available on SoundCloud). These years greg struggled with a lack or purpose, all the while developing a sound that truly felt like it belonged to him. Blessedassistant merges indie pop, hip hop, Prince vibes, dark jazz, and lofi beats into something never tasted before.
